About the Position:

• This is an on-call position; hours are not guaranteed but may be scheduled in advance for PTO coverage.
• Shifts are available Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• Substitute teachers must be able to step into any classroom and effectively support the learning environment with minimal direction.
• While training will be provided, candidates must have a general understanding of classroom dynamics and child development.

• Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting.
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide a nurturing, respectful environment.
• Basic knowledge of Montessori principles is preferred, but a respectful and kind approach to children is required.
• Professionalism in demeanor, communication, and reliability—our school serves a high-end clientele, and we expect staff to uphold our standards.
• Flexibility to accept or decline shifts as needed, but commitment to follow through once a shift is accepted.
